Last night when I got home from youth group, Alec surprised me with ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery...French Vanilla ice cream with raspberries and chocolate syrup mixed in...YUM! :) And the best part was that it was college ID night, so he bought one and got one free!
Later, I decided to watch "Ramona and Beezus." I love that even though the Quimby family is going through a difficult time when the dad loses his job, he tries his best to liven up a stiff situation by making jokes, like when he creatively cracks a hard-boiled egg while packing lunches for Beezus and Ramona. Or when Ramona washes Hobart's Jeep and it get ruined by a multicolored paint and instead of getting mad at her, he jokes and says it looks like an Easter egg.
